The Achilles Club caters for present and former track and field athletes of Oxford and Cambridge Universities. As such it has an illustrious past, with numerous Olympic Gold Medallists and World Record Holders among its members, and a very vibrant current set-up.

The Club arranges matches, overseas tours and social events, enabling athletes to turn old rivalries into firm friendships, provides strong financial and administrative support for CUAC, OUAC and intervarsity athletics, and sends out regular newsletters.
