London Inter-Club Challenge (LICC)

LICC began as a trophy competition, aimed primarily London based clubs, in order to provide local competition (typically at Allianz Park) of good quality on week-ends when there were no League fixtures. Over time, the team element of the meetings has receded and entries are now taken on an individual basis. The organising clubs in recent years have included Shaftesbury Barnet H. (SBH) and Achilles Club, who have also combined with London Universities and Colleges Athletics (LUCA) for the first meeting each year (held at Lee Valley).

With effect from the 2022 season, Achilles is no longer taking an active role in the organisation of LICC. Achilles members should note that although the previously available 50% discount on entry fees will not be available at the time of online entry, the Club is keen to encourage participation in these meetings, and the Hon. Treasurer will look favourably on any request for partial reimbursement of entry fees by paid up Club members.
